Lukasz Smigielski studied psychology and literature at universities in Cracow, Torun, Göttingen, and Bologna. He is interested in the neuroscience of consciousness and the concept of self. His research project focuses on neuropharmacological mechanisms underlying the dissolution of the self and aberrant perception induced by a psychoactive agent, psilocybin.
