I am a psychiatrist, sports psychiatrist and mental health content creator. I work as a consultant in psychiatry at the Psychiatric University Hospital in Zurich. My primary focus lies in sports psychiatry, particularly in understanding the prevalence and clinical relevance of mental health problems and psychiatric disorders among athletes.
My current research explores the prevalence of psychiatric diagnoses in athletes and the connection between specific types of sports injuries and mental health outcomes—an area that remains underexplored but holds significant clinical importance.
I aim to contribute to the development of structured clinical care pathways for athletes within mental health systems and to advance the field of sports psychiatry on both a national and international level through interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
