Shani is an expert Occupational Therapist at the Shalvata Mental Health Center, where she provides specialized care and interventions for individuals facing trauma and life crises. Her doctoral research investigated mood instability and functioning in patients with depression, integrating advanced Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) evaluations. Shani's primary research interests center on functional outcome measures in mental health populations and advanced assessment methodologies. Currently, she is involved in several projects that utilize EMA to explore resilience and daily functioning in individuals with PTSD. Alongside her clinical work, she is focused on creating evidence-based personalized treatment interventions to improve care for diverse mental health populations in acute and community settings.
