Clarissa Janousch holds a position as a post-doctoral research associate at the Risk and Resilience research laboratory at the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development, led by Prof. Lilly Shanahan, and the Experimental and Clinical Pharmacopsychology laboratory at the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich, led by Prof. Boris Quednow. During her PhD, she focused on the conceptualization and measurement of adolescents’ resilience. Currently, she is examining the effects of adolescent substance use on cognitive abilities and real-life functioning. Broadly, her interests encompass comprehending and fostering biopsychosocial mechanisms that contribute to positive adaptation and mental well-being, along with a keen focus on quantitative methods.
