Translational Stress Research (PD Dr. F. Cathomas)

We are an interdisciplinary group of researchers with diverse backgrounds, including psychiatry, neurobiology, and immunology. Our goal is to increase our understanding of the complex interactions between the brain and immune system in the context of stress-related psychiatric disorders, to translate our insights into clinical practice, and to ultimately pave the way for novel, mechanism-based treatments.
