Laura Schurek graduated with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Lausanne, where she volunteered as a research assistant in a laboratory studying cognitive and affective regulation processes. She then pursued her MSc with a Major in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Fribourg, contributing as a student research assistant within the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, as well as completing an internship at the university’s psychotherapeutic practice center. Currently, her research investigates the mechanisms underlying cognitive impairments in individuals with cocaine use disorder.
