Lydia Johnson-Ferguson is a PhD student at both the Risk and Resilience research laboratory at the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development and the Experimental and Clinical Pharmacopsychology laboratory at the University Hospital Zurich. She completed her BSc in psychology at Cardiff University, which was followed by an internship at the Klinik Zugersee, Zug. She has completed an MSc in Psychiatric Research at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College, London. Her master’s thesis was a qualitative evaluation of the use of Sativex to treat cannabis dependence in patients with first-episode psychosis at the Cannabis Clinic for Patients with Psychosis (CCP) in Lambeth, London. She is interested in the aetiology of substance abuse, especially the role of stress and environmental factors.
