Delia Christ is a PhD student in the ZNZ International PhD Program in Neuroscience. She completed her studies in Molecular Biology, majoring in Neurobiology, at the Biozentrum, University of Basel. Her master’s thesis focused on plasticity in the central oxytocin system upon social isolation in mice. In her PhD, she is interested in the social core of substance use disorders. Specifically, she aims to investigate the effects of chronic opioid use on the brain and its impact on social and non-social cognition.
